About EUREKA

History

  • EUREKA started in 1985, when 18 European countries tried to strike balance with America by establishing "European Collaborative R&D Network.," which aimed to produce an industrial technology development organization that is SME centered and market driven.
  • Currently, there are 40 European countries as Member states and in general assembly that takes place 4 times in a year, new projects and approved and the future direction of EUREKA's technology development are decided.

    ¡Ø EUREKA is unique from the aspect that thanks to its bottom-up style, voluntary industry-academia cooperation has been promoted. Also, being market driven has allowed variety in the types of projects and accelerated development
